Project overview
Inviso was opening up a new offering for fully designed Power BI dashboards with matching SharePoint sites. We needed some examples of work to put on the Power BI Store. At the time, I was the only one on our design team with enough technical knowledge to actually make the designs in the Power BI software and create SharePoint sites, so the task was handed to me. I figured it would be a great opportunity to figure out ways to stretch the design capabilities of both technologies.
I created a three fake companies with their own unique look to show the variety Inviso would be able to offer its clients. Once our fake companies were up on the Power BI store, real companies were excited to order their customized Team Hubs. I created Team Hubs for Honda, CCH, and Andersen Windows before moving on to do animation at VMG.

Old home page
The old CCH home page had a lot of UX issues. The original developer, Mike Chiddick, came to me for some design help and improved UI/UX. All of the new functionalities were really great, but it was so hard to find them, they didn't shine like they should have.

The navigation was not the most intuitive and it was hard to read the data at a glance, so we decided to focus on easy navigation and better data visualizations.
New home page
I did a UX audit to determine the pain points that were most prominent in the original design. It was very hard to tell which bits of information went together and a lot of the buttons were unclear.
I chose to go with a clean flat design for the visuals. I used a mixture of visual cues and colors to make the design more accessible and much easier to understand at a glance.
